Ugh.

As you all know, I have been trying to see all the films nominated for Golden Globes this year before the actual ceremony. This will be awesome because I will have seen almost all of the movies that are also nominated for Oscars. The Globes are on Sunday, and I will not be able to see all the movies, and here’s why. First of all, Crazy Heart, A Single Man, and A Serious Man all were limited releases (i.e. NOT in Dayton, Ohio) that came out in December and January. Thus, their DVD releases won’t be until later this year, and their downloads are VERY hard to find. The Last Station and The Lovely Bones don’t even come out in theatres until January 15th, and the Globes are on the 17th! Insane.

Just because the voters get special screening copies doesn’t mean regular people don’t want to see the movies. Seriously. Ugh.
