30 Rock
When 30 Rock first started, I watched the first episode, maybe the first two, and I thought it was stupid. This is the same reaction I had to The Office when it first started, and I have discovered the awesomeness of that show. Because I’m on detail in New York and have little else to do, I started watching 30 Rock because I was tired of watching episodes of Buffy on the Netflix instant queue. Seriously. Anyway, it’s hilARious! How did I miss out on this show? Alec Baldwin is a freaking genius and Tina Fey rocks. I don’t really care about Jane Kra-whatever from Ally McBeal, but I recognize that she’s a good sidekick character. I’m convinced I’m the only person left who doesn’t like this show, but if you’ve been boycotting it for no reason like I was, give it a second chance. You won’t be sorry.
Also, Big Brother pretty much blows. It’s the only thing on in the summer, but unless you pay to get the live feeds and read bbdish.blogspot.com and are basically obsessed with the show, it’s not that much fun to watch. Lucky for me, my parents have the live feeds and keep me updated on everything going on. The problem then is I know who is nominated or who won the veto like two weeks before it happens on the show. And that makes it even less fun. But again, I’m in freaking Albany and there isn’t anything else to do but work, and I clearly don’t want to do that on the weekend.
So basically, my weekend was filled with working on the first LOST puzzle (it’s hard!), watching 30 Rock, and going to the New York State Museum. Fun!
