Wow, this movie sucks. I really like Jennifer Lopez, especially in movies – okay, not in Gigli, but in The Wedding Planner and Monster-in-Law. But this one is the worst so far. There’s no real chemistry between the main characters, the plot is shotty at best and completely unrealistic and unbelievable, and the acting was even really horrible. Yikes. So go ahead and skip this one. Jennifer Lopez is good though, sometimes. She just needs to make sure the plot is funny enough and the supporting cast is actually decent and not just as bad as she is.

I was really sad because I don’t get either of the two channels that plays Golden Girls while I’m here in training, and then I discovered something awesome. letmewatchthis.com has links to youtube where people have posted tons of episodes!!! So now not only can I watch Golden Girls during my trip, but I can watch them in order and everything! Woo! It is a happy day. It’s a bit pathetic that I am so excited about this, but whatever. Something else that’s interesting: I think it might be impossible to find Sophia’s purse from the show online – is it possible that nobody has made a replica? If you happen upon a website that has any info about it, please let me know because I would love to have one!

Not that my blogs have been particularly regular or anything, but I wanted to say that I’m in Pennsylvania for the next two weeks training for my new job. I have wireless internet in the Best Western I’m staying at, but I will probably be busy doing training and stuff and may not blog. We will see. Currently, I am watching Gilmore Girls and kicking it in my hotel room. Fun! Staying in hotels is seriously the best. Huzzah! I will kick back, watch Family Guy and drink cream soda! Fun!

What is up with this kid? Does he think he’s Usher? Why does he wear 80s style moon boots? He is confusing. Discuss.

Watch this movie with Cameron Diaz and the guy who plays Cyclops. And then get back to me. I read the short story and it was nothing like the film at all, and it got a little Donnie Darko towards the end – in a good way, I think, but still. There’s no point of me discussing this film in any detail if you haven’t seen it because you will have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about. So watch it, and let me know.

People would not leave me alone about this movie, Law Abiding Citizen. Seriously. They would not leave me alone about how great an amazing the movie is, over and over again. But, you know, it has Jamie Foxx in it and I pretty much hate him a lot. [more in a bit, I am taking a break from blogging to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2] Okay, so anyway. I was not particularly interested, especially because the film also had Gerard Butler (known to me as the phantom in The Phantom of the Opera but known to everyone else on the planet as the guy from 300 who yells “For Sparta!”) in it, and I’m not a huge fan. I’m neutral. Anyway, so since everyone was bugging me about it, I put it in my instant queue for Netflix and forgot about it, but alas, it came in the mail and I felt obligated to watch it. Sorry it’s been forever since I’ve posted – I recently started a new job and it’s been monopolizing a lot of my time. Anyway, I have recently discovered possibly the greatest show in the history of everything: The Golden Girls. I mean, I knew about it and all, but I had never seen an episode until about a week ago. Not only is it probably the funniest show I have ever seen, it’s always fun to watch and it’s entertaining. I won’t bore you with the storyline – google it. But if you’ve never given it a try, do it. It’s worth it. The best part is that they show it ALL the time on tv, so I’ve already seen almost 30 episodes. Sophia is my favorite by far, and the best line I’ve heard so far was: “Look! There’s a black guy reading the news and it’s not even the weekend!” I laughed my ass off. Really. I’m not kidding. Watch a couple of episodes, no matter what you think about it. Hilarious. It’s like Sex and the City without the sex scenes and horse-face Sarah Jessica Parker. Woo! Plus, Bea A...
